Answers

1. How do I turn on the i2i?
To turn on the i2i, hold in the volume control button in for about 1 second.

2. How do I charge the i2i?

To charge the i2i, 1st connect the USB cable to your computer. Then connect the i2i to the other end of the cable. Charging should take 5-6 hours. The optional AC charger charges the unit in 2 hours.

3. How do I listen to music with someone else using the i2i?
To listen to music with another person, the person who wants to transmit their music must first connect an audio source to their unit, turn the unit on, and push transmit. The person without the audio source should then turn their i2i on and set their channel color to match that of the transmitting i2i. After plugging in headphones, the receiver should now be able to hear the music being transmitted.

4. Where do my headphones plug in?
Headphones plug in on top of the unit (near the transmit button).

5. Do I need my own headphones?
The i2i does not ship with headphones.

6. Where does the USB cable plug in?
The USB cable plugs into the right side of the i2i, near the bottom.

7. Can I use the i2i with my particular brand of mp3 player?

Probably. The i2i stream works with all mp3 players as long as they have a standard size headphone jack.

8. Can I use the i2i to transmit music from my computer?
Yes, plug the cable you would normally use with your mp3 player into the headphone jack of your computer.

9. Can I use the i2i with my cell phone?
Yes, as long as the phone has a standard headphone jack.

10. How do I transmit?
If the audio device is connected to the unit, push the button with a circle on it.

11. How do I receive?
Select the same audio channel as the transmitter you want to listen to and push the button with a triangle on it.

12. How do I switch from transmitting to receiving mode? (and vice-versa)
At any time, you can transmit or receive by pushing the appropriate button.

13. How do I change channels?
To change channels, push the i2i button in the middle of the unit. The outside edge of the button will change color. There are 7 colors in all, keep pushing the i2i button until the color you want appears.

14. What if the channel button is sticking?
If the channel button sticks, keep pressing it until it changes color. If you believe the unit is defective, e-mail customer service at customerservice@aerielle.com

15. How far away from the receiver/transmitter can I be?
The range of the i2i stream is 30 feet.

16. What if my friend can hear me but I can't hear them?

If your friend can hear your music, but you cant receive theirs when they transmit, make sure your units volume is up far enough. If you still cant hear them, make sure their audio device is on and connected to the i2i, and that the volume is at least three-quarters of the way up.

17. How many i2i's can be within range of each other?
An unlimited number of i2i streams can receive within 30 feet of each other. However, only 3 transmitters may operate within 30 feet of each other, and only if they are transmitting on different channels. If the units are near a WI-FI hotspot or other strong wireless network(s), it is possible that only 2 transmitters can simultaneously operate within the 30 feet.
